What is Commission?

bet.me provide a peer to peer exchange platform for our users. In return we charge a very small % of commission. Charging a small percentage of Commission is the most common way for Betting Exchanges to charge their customers. This gives the Exchange the ability to provide a platform in which the customer can benefit from much fairer prices over conventional bookmakers. Any commission you have been charged can be found on your account statement.

How is Commission charged?

We will charge (2%) to your net winnings on a market. Commission is always applied per market, not per event. We will never charge any commission on a market where a customer has a net loss.

Example:

You have net winnings on a market of £60.

bet.me commission is at (2%).

We charge (£1.20) commission.

Your total profit on the market = (£58.80.)

Example:

You place two bets on a market; a winning bet of £20 at 9.0 making a profit of £160.

A losing bet of £30 at 3.0 loses £30.

Your net winning on the market are £160-£30=£130.

bet.me commission is at (2%). We will charge you (2%) of (£130=£2.60).

Your total profit on the market = (£127.40).

Example:

You place three bets on a market; two winning bets of £20 at 2.0.

You place a losing bet of £50 at 3.0

You have a net loss of £10 on this market.

No Commission will be charged.

Will I get charged Commission if my bet loses?

We will never charge commission on a market where the customer has lost.
